I was originally raised in Hana until I was about 3 years old and have lived in Upcountry Maui, North Shore, Haiku, Kula, Lahaina, and Kihei. I have a passion for sharing the beauty and wonders of my island home, while providing educational, historical, and informational knowledge while on your tour with me. Maui holds a very special place in my heart and have extensive knowledge about all that Maui has to offer. I have 15 years of experience working on snorkel charter boats out of Maalaea Harbor and have been employed with many of the companies. I am an expert in the ocean and can teach you how to snorkel to ensure your upmost comfort and joy. I have many years of experience with private and group snorkel tours both from our beaches and from our charter boats. You can count on me in the water with your safety and comfort. I have a master’s degree in social work, an undergraduate degree in psychology with an emphasis on early childhood education. Along with my degrees, I studied pre-medicine, and education and am well equipped with lifeguarding for people of all ages and with health conditions. I have taught hundreds of non-swimmers how to snorkel and feel safe doing so quickly, comfortably and confidently. No matter your age, cultural background, level of ocean experience, physical disabilities, health conditions, we will make it work out, so you get the best experience possible. Being prepared in all aspects is most important to me, so I highly encourage you to share medical​/​health conditions, fears, worries, etc., with me prior to tours for your ultimate experience. My educational background in psychology, pre-medicine, social work, and teaching have equipped me with all necessary tools and therapeutic modalities to be of best assistance for all people who book with me. I am Scuba Certified, First Aid​/​CPR​/​AED as well as BLS certified. I have extensive experience working with children with my background in teaching elementary special education, nannying, babysitting, and tutoring so rest assured, your children will be in good hands. As a previous medical case manager, I have been there for all people under my care for all their needs for their best health outcomes.
