Hello, I'm Mia M.

Aloha, I’m Mia—born and raised on Maui. I offer personalized childcare and family support for visitors who want to actually relax and enjoy their time here, knowing their kids are in good hands. I’ve been working with kids for over 15 years—everything from nannying and tutoring to teaching. I was a special education teacher for elementary-aged students, and I have a lot of experience supporting kids on the autism spectrum, with behavioral needs, and different developmental styles. Every child is different, and I meet them where they’re at. I also spent 15 years working as a snorkel boat deckhand here on Maui, so I’m very comfortable around the ocean and in high-energy environments. I bring that awareness and calm into everything I do—whether we’re at the beach, out on an excursion, or just having a chill day. I have a Master’s in Social Work, with a background in psychology, early childhood development, and education. I’m fully certified in CPR, First Aid, and Advanced Child Care, and I take safety seriously without making things feel rigid or stressful. What I offer goes beyond just childcare.
