Hello, I'm Mary D.

Responsible, patient, flexible, nurturing and energetic, with good judgment and a sense of humor, I have extensive experience caring for children of all ages. After a rewarding career as a communications executive with child-related nonprofit organizations, I fulfilled my longtime dream of returning to another profession I love: childcare. With six younger siblings (including twins born when I was 10), I learned childcare early in life. Babysitting from junior high through college and beyond, I cared for more than 100 children. Later, I frequently stayed with my six local nieces and nephews on evenings and weekends and when their parents were out of town, and traveled with those families.
