Nanny Camera Instructions
Quick, smooth setup so parents feel confident before they leave.
Before Arrival (Parents)
Ask parents the day before the booking to complete:
- Download the Wansview Cloud app
- Create an account (confirmation code may land in spam/junk)
- Send you the phone number linked to their Wansview account
Camera Setup Steps (Sitters)
- Open the Wansview app
- Add a new device
- Select D1 Indoor Camera
- Connect using the QR code method - Hold the QR code in front of the camera until it scans.
On Arrival
- Connect the camera to the home Wi-Fi
- Test the camera to confirm it’s working properly before parents leave
Important Notes to Tell Parents
- If there are technical issues and the camera isn’t working: apologize and reassure them they can call/check in by phone as often as they’d like.
- The camera does not record or store footage (no memory / saved video).
- You’ll do your best to keep the camera on the children, but if kids are moving, they may not always be visible.
- You may lower the camera volume, especially if the children are sleeping.
- Parents should communicate any requests or concerns directly with you.
