Quick, smooth setup so parents feel confident before they leave.

Before Arrival (Parents)

Ask parents the day before the booking to complete:

  • Download the Wansview Cloud app
  • Create an account (confirmation code may land in spam/junk)
  • Send you the phone number linked to their Wansview account

Camera Setup Steps (Sitters)

  1. Open the Wansview app
  2. Add a new device
  3. Select D1 Indoor Camera
  4. Connect using the QR code method - Hold the QR code in front of the camera until it scans.

Sharing Access With Parents

  1. Open camera Settings
  2. Select Device Sharing
  3. Add the parent’s phone number
  4. Parents accept the invite in their app

Before you arrive, confirm you have:

  • Camera
  • Charging cable

On Arrival

  • Connect the camera to the home Wi-Fi
  • Test the camera to confirm it’s working properly before parents leave

Important Notes to Tell Parents

  • If there are technical issues and the camera isn’t working: apologize and reassure them they can call/check in by phone as often as they’d like.
  • The camera does not record or store footage (no memory / saved video).
  • You’ll do your best to keep the camera on the children, but if kids are moving, they may not always be visible.
  • You may lower the camera volume, especially if the children are sleeping.
  • Parents should communicate any requests or concerns directly with you.
